What You Will Need
The giant bubble recipe uses simple household ingredients plus a special polymer, so you can make professional-quality giant bubble solution at home.
Washing-up liquid: Use only Fairy Liquid or Dawn by Procter & Gamble (sold under other names in some countries). Ingredients can change, so check that your bottle states 15–30% anionic surfactants. Not sure which bottle to choose? See our guide: Which Washing-Up Liquid to Use.
The polymer: Guar Gum and/or J-Lube. We provide alternative versions of the recipe using only Guar Gum or only J-Lube, in case J-Lube is difficult to obtain or restricted in your country.
Every ingredient is linked inside the module. You buy what we buy.

Customer Q&A
Have questions? We’re happy to help! Email: cheryl@bubblyheaven.co.uk
Q. What polymers do I need for the giant bubble recipe?
A. For this giant bubble recipe, you will need the polymers Guar Gum and J-Lube. These ingredients help create strong, stretchy, long-lasting giant bubbles with improved elasticity and self-healing properties.
Q. What if I cannot get J-Lube in my country?
A. J-Lube is not available in every country and may be difficult to obtain in places such as Turkey. Because of this, we also provide alternative giant bubble recipe variations that use:
- Only Guar Gum
- Only J-Lube
This allows you to still make high-performance giant bubble solution even if one ingredient is unavailable locally. Although we do sell J-lube and ship to Turkey, just enter your address at the checkout.
Q. Can I still make professional giant bubbles without J-Lube?
A. Yes. While J-Lube improves elasticity and durability, you can still make excellent giant bubbles using a Guar Gum-only recipe. Many bubble artists use modified recipes depending on ingredient availability, climate, and performance needs.
