⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Just a note to say thank you for organising the animal encounters for Poppy’s Party, I was amazed at how up-close the children could get to the animals. Needless to say the children loved it – especially the birthday girl, Poppy, who was in ‘cloud 9’ being near so many animals.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “The animals were clearly well cared for, gentle and a huge hit with both the children and the adults.”

📌 FAQs
Animal Hire FAQs 🐾
Are the animals safe and well cared for?
Yes. All animals are handled by experienced professionals and are used to being around children. Their welfare is the top priority.
What animals do you bring?
The animals depend on the package booked. The petting farm typically includes a donkey, mini pony, sheep, goats, or bunnies, though this may vary—please enquire for the most up-to-date selection.
What if a child is nervous or scared?
That’s perfectly okay. No child is ever forced to touch an animal. Watching from a distance is always an option.
Who can ride the donkeys?
Only donkeys booked for rides (in pairs) are available for riding; the petting farm donkey does not give rides.
Rider requirements:
- Must be at least 18 months old
- Must be shorter than 4’6” (138 cm)
- Must weigh less than 6 stone
- Each ride lasts around 5 minutes, including helmet fitting and photos.
Do you need special space or facilities?
Yes. Please refer to our animal requirements for full specifications and details.
The three that matter most:
- Parking: the animal vehicle must be parked no more than 10 metres from the animal area.
- Access: it is a large vehicle (6.7m long, 2.1m wide, 2.9m high), and the animals cannot go up or down stairs or into tight spaces.
- Ground: non-slippery, even ground. Grass is ideal and tarmac or concrete is fine, but not waterlogged grass.
Do you work with SEND children or care settings?
Yes. We regularly work in SEND schools, nurseries, care homes, and inclusive events. We tailor every experience to the group.
