Holly Pop’s bubble shows are pure magic. Families watch bubbles do things they never thought possible: square bubbles, bubbles inside bubbles, smoke-filled bubbles and giant bubbles drifting over the audience. It’s beautiful, a little bit silly, and interactive from start to finish.

The whole audience joins in together, counting, calling out and reacting, but nobody is picked out or called up on stage. It’s a low-pressure show where everyone can enjoy it their own way. The grown-ups are just as engrossed as the children, and I get lots of lovely compliments from parents after every show.

I’m Cheryl Holley, and I perform as Holly Pop. I’ve been making bubbles for families since 2005, and holiday parks are some of my favourite places to work.

Sensory bubble sessionsBubbles speak a universal language. They reach people of every age without words, including guests with special needs and those who don’t communicate verbally. SEN children in my audiences come back again and again.

Easy to book, easy on the day

  • Self-contained. No power needed. I bring my own radio mic and can plug into your venue’s PA.
  • Flexible space. Ideal indoor space is about 5 m x 3 m, but I adapt to your stage or room.
  • Outdoors in most weather. Bubbles love wind and even rain. For outdoor bookings we agree an indoor backup plan in advance and check the forecast 24 hours before, in case of storms, ice or extreme wind or rain. I use separate indoor and outdoor kit, so the decision needs making the day before.
  • Fully insured. £5 million public liability insurance and DBS checked, with risk assessments supplied before the day.
  • Fits your schedule. Stage times, set lengths and walkabout slots are all worked around your programme.
  • Book early. Summer and Christmas fill first.

  • South Wales: Porthcawl, Bridgend, Cardiff, Swansea, Kidwelly, Pendine and Carmarthenshire
  • Somerset coast: Burnham-on-Sea, Brean, Weston-super-Mare and Minehead
  • Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds: including the Cotswold Water Park and the Forest of Dean
  • Bristol, Bath and Wiltshire
  • Dorset: Weymouth and Wareham

Further afield is fine for multi-day or regular bookings. Just ask.

Questions park entertainment teams ask

How long are the shows?

Usually 30 minutes, with 2 or 3 shows across a day. Outdoor shows run from 20 to 45 minutes, and walkabouts are sets of 20, 30 or 45 minutes spread through the day.

Do you need power or a stage?

No. The show is self-contained. I bring my own radio mic, which can run through your venue’s sound system.

Can you perform outdoors?

Yes. Bubbles love all kinds of weather, including wind and rain. The only exceptions are storms, ice and extreme wind or rain, which aren’t safe for anyone outdoors. For outdoor bookings we agree an indoor backup plan and check the forecast 24 hours before. I bring different kit for indoors and outdoors, so the decision is made the day before, not on the day.

Are you insured and DBS checked?

Yes. I hold £5 million public liability insurance and a DBS check, and I send risk assessments before the booking.

Is the show suitable for guests with additional needs?

Yes. Bubbles speak a universal language and reach people of all ages without words. The show never singles anyone out or calls people up on stage, and I also run calmer sensory sessions. SEN children in my audiences often come back for more.

How far do you travel?

Across South Wales, the Somerset coast, Gloucestershire, Bristol, Wiltshire and Dorset, and further for regular or multi-day bookings.
