Tip 2
Set Up
The set up is key to keeping this a mess and slip hazard free environment. (See our safe working practices here for all bubble activities). All bubbles are table top and DO NOT USE BIG WANDS. The way the tables are set up encourages free play and free movement.
Set up three tables, place a waterproof layer and a towel on top.
- Table 1 – Foam Table. Use Johnsons Baby Bath, trays and foamers. (buy foamers)
- Table 2 – Blow Bubbles Activity, Only small wands are used (buy some here)
- Table 3 – Lights, animal toys and tubes. I encourage the kids to blow bubbles over the animals. Or just bubbles onto the lights.
MORE TIPS:
- Use non gloopy bubble liquid like Uncle Bubble OR Bubbly Heavens Concentrate.
- You can have the room lights off or on.
- Add bubble shapes for some STEM science
Tip 3
Make sensory bubble lights
To make the sensory bubbles lights you simply put the battery operated pond lights into a tub with a lid, then you can make bubbles on the lid. The lights are waterproof however putting them inside the tubs gives extra space to blow bubbles onto and keeps the lights in good working order. You can find the Amazon links below to the lights and tubs we use.
