Performance Requirements & Venue Conditions
To ensure the best possible bubble show experience, please read the following venue requirements carefully. Bubble performances are highly sensitive to environmental conditions.
Certain venue conditions may affect or prevent some bubble effects from being performed.
1. Supervision
All children must be adequately supervised and children under 5 must be seated next to their grown-up at all times.
2. Air Movement
Bubble tricks require still air.
Please ensure that:
- Air conditioning is switched off or minimised during the performance where possible.
- Extractor fans, ventilation hoods, and similar airflow-producing equipment are switched off where possible.
- Doors and windows remain closed during the performance. Drafts are minimised throughout the performance area.
3. Room Temperature
If the venue becomes warm or stuffy, doors and windows may be opened before the performance begins to ventilate the room.
To achieve the best results, doors and windows should be closed during the performance.
4. Sound Systems & Bass
Heavy bass frequencies can create air vibrations that cause bubbles to pop prematurely.
Where possible:
- Reduce excessive bass levels during the performance.
- Position speakers away from the performance area.
5. Chemicals & Cleaning Products (Very Important)
Bubble solutions are extremely sensitive to chemicals and airborne contaminants.
The following may adversely affect the performance:
- Cleaning sprays
- Disinfectants and sanitisers
- Air fresheners
- Smoke and fog machine fluids
- Flame-retardant treatments
- Insect sprays
- Aerosol products
- Stage treatments and coatings
- Any other chemical products used in or near the performance area
No chemical sprays, treatments, coatings, or similar products should be applied in the performance area within 7 days of the performance, do not schedule any treatments in the week before a bubble show!
If such products have been used, please inform Bubbly Heaven as soon as possible.
The performer reserves the sole right to determine whether venue conditions are suitable for bubble performance.
If chemicals or environmental contamination affect the bubble solution or performance environment, the performer may modify, shorten, or cancel the performance. In these circumstances, no refund will be provided.
Performance Limitations
While every effort will be made to deliver the full advertised show, environmental conditions beyond the performer’s control may affect certain bubble effects.
The performer reserves the right to modify or omit individual effects where venue conditions prevent them from being performed successfully.
Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Performance Requirements & Venue Conditions and agree to make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable environment for the performance.
