The short answer is yes, the Uncle Bubble Mega Loop is great!
(I am not affiliated with Uncle Bubble, I do sell their giant bubble liquid however this review is true and based on my experience).
The Uncle Bubble Mega Loop is a decent kit to put children inside bubbles. I would recommend it to any bubble lover and families. And I would recommend it to bubble entertainers if they are struggling to get their hands on a ridged kid in a bubble kit or are restricted by cost or travel needs.
The reviews online are mixed and I can understand why as it takes some skill and patience to get the big bubbles. I am a bubble entertainer so I am skilled in using the stand in a bubble sets. However if you buy this kit for the kids to play with themselves I can imagine them not getting very good results as you have to use steady movements and not shake the hoop or you will just make lots if foam and foam kills bubbles.
If you are interested in purchasing a ridged bubble moat and loop for children to stand inside a large bubble then see our “How to put children inside bubbles” blog page as we keep our links updated on this page for suppliers.
Top Tips Using the Stand In A Bubble Kit
- Use luke warm or warm water to make the liquid with. (Not cold).
- Have an adult operate the wand as it requires steady movements and patience.
- Add some braided string around the loop so help it hold the liquid better.
- Do not shake the loop in the moat as this will cause foam, and foam kills bubbles.

Pro’s:
- Affordable
- Easy to transport and travel with.
- Come with professional quality liquid which is amazing!
- Easy to buy on Amazon
- Is fun and makes lots of huge bubbles
Con’s:
- Takes steady movements and took a while to get the feel for the wand, so not easy for kids to use, its would suit an adult who loves making bubbles for kids. And not as a kids bubble toy.
- When compared with the professional ridged kits these are harder to empty as you cannot simply lift and tip however it does come with a handy empty jug which made the process fairly easy.
- Personally I added some cotton string around the hoop to allow it to hold liquid for longer. Which allowed it to work equally as well as my ridged moat and hoops.
- The inflation plugs kept popping out (but did not de-flate).
- Could easily get a puncture as thin material like paddling pools.
