We couldn’t sell the sensory bubble lights any longer in our shop so I have created a how to page here so you can make your own sensory bubble lights.
We use the bubble lights in our sensory bubble parties, care home and SEN school therapy play sessions. I am going to show you how to make your own with a light that you can re-charge. There is 2 types of lights (led dog collars & waterpoof pool lights) and a variety of waterproof pouch sizes. I think it’s best to have a mixture so that you can experiment.
These squishy light mats are ideal for making bubble in top, just wet the mat with bubble solution and blow soap bubbles or foam directly on the top for a sensory bubble glow. Make sensory bubbles on a light for a calming play time activity. Ideal for children and adults with special education needs, ADHD, autism or learning difficulties and also the elderly with dementia.
Lights On OR Off?
Once you have made your light you can use with the lights on and in day light, but for a special glow bubble experience turn the lights off or on low and have a bubble glow session. You will need to pick a time thats right for your child/adult, get it right and this can be a wonderful relaxing experience for both you and the adult/child with SEN.
Its advised you always supervise this activity and put the light sealed inside the pouch so the light does not get tampered with. The lights are not children’s toys.
